Ryan C. Miller is a Ph.D. student in Early Childhood Education at the University of Texas at Austin. Before starting his doctoral journey, Ryan spent over 10 years teaching in preschool classrooms in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he developed a deep passion for honoring the cultural wealth that children and families bring to early learning spaces. His research focuses on the experiences of Latino/x male educators and young boys, exploring how early childhood education often fails to recognize their unique identities as strengths. Ryan is committed to transformative research that amplifies marginalized voices, reimagines what "quality" early education can be, and inspires hope for a more just and equitable future for all learners.
